7 Emirati medals for the Jiu-Jitsu team in the World Championship

The national jiu-jitsu team, sponsored by Mubadala Investment Company, won seven colorful medals (two gold, three silver, and two bronze) in the World Championship currently being held in the Greek city of Heraklion, and continuing until the fourth of next November.

The two gold medals were signed by Omar Al Suwaidi (56 kg) and Khaled Al Shehhi (62 kg), while Balqis Al Hashimi (45 kg), Zayed Al Kathiri (56 kg) and Mohammed Al Suwaidi (69 kg) won the silver medals, and Aisha Al Shamsi (45 kg) won.

and Maitha Shuraim (48 kg) won the bronze medal.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Fahd Ali, said in press statements, “The achievement achieved by the male and female players, and their success in winning a number of colorful medals, enhances the team’s chances of maintaining the title.

” He added: “What our sons and daughters have achieved today clearly reflects the success of the intensive preparation plans and the team’s preparations to compete in such world championships.

” It should be noted that the preparations and training camps phase were crucial in refining the players’ skills and raising the level of their readiness and mental and physical abilities.
