Al-Sharjah defeats Al-Bataeh in the Basketball League by 21 points

The Sharjah team overcame its host, Al Bataeh, by 21 points (95-74), in a postponed match the day before yesterday, for the first round in the first leg of the preliminary round of the General Basketball League Championship.

The Sharjah players knew how to ensure their victory, by gaining the advantage with the results of the first and second quarters and then the third quarter by (27-25, 24-15 and 26-12), while the result of the fourth quarter went in favor of Al-Bataeh (22-18).

The victory allowed the Sharjah team to enter into a partnership with Shabab Al-Ahly and Al-Nasr at the top of the general standings with four points each, while the loss of Al-Bataeh led to its decline to third place with three points, a point behind each of Al-Dhafra and Al-Jazira, who shared fourth place, while Al-Wasl and Al-Wahda remained in last place.
