“Godolphin” horses chase “Class One” races in Australia and Britain
The international Godolphin team is fielding two of its best horses to compete for the top-ranked Group 1 race titles in the world, hosted today by horse tracks in Australia and Britain.
Trainer James Cummings saddles the colt “Broadsideing” to compete for the title of the main race at the Australian “Money Valley” racecourse, before attention turns to the British “Doncaster” racecourse, through which the undefeated colt “Ano Domini” aspires to the title of the main race.
In his new Australian mission, the three-year-old colt “Broadsideng” aspires to win the title of the “Ladbrokes Cox Plate” race, which extends over a distance of 2000 meters on grass, and to add the sixth victory in his career, which is limited to nine participations, and his fourth at the level of “Group 1” races, the last of which came last month when he was crowned with the title.
The “Golden Rose” race, which took place on the “Rosehill Gardens” track, was won by “Broadsideing” by a “neck” over his stablemate, “Traffic Warden.
”
The colt, “Ano Domini,” hopes to add his name to the wonderful group of “Godolphin” horses emerging in the United Kingdom races this year, when he takes on the 1,600-meter challenge to win the title of the “Future Trophy” race, especially since the two-year-old colt, whose training is supervised by Charlie Appleby, has started… His racing career last June at the English Newbury Racecourse won by a margin of three-quarters of a length in a race that extended a distance of 1,300 metres, before he achieved victory at the beginning of last July by the same margin (three-quarters of a length) in a race at the Sandown Park Racecourse that extended a longer distance.
It reached 1400 metres.
Godolphin coach Charlie Appleby commented on Ano Domini’s readiness for the race, saying in press statements: “We are very happy with the performance that Ano Domini showed in his previous two participations, and this race is his first in the high-classification races, and it seems that he will have a lot of fun.
” “He is strong, and we feel that he will not be far from his appropriate position, and we are confident of his ability to give a good performance in the race.
