“Godolphin” is champion of “horse owners” in Britain for the 16th time
The global “Godolphin” team was crowned the “Owners” Championship title in the British racing season for the 16th time in history, at the “Champions Day” race ceremony that took place today, Saturday, at the ancient “Ascot” track, and represents the finale of the British season.
The “Angel Championship” award was received by Hugh Anderson, General Manager of the Godolphin team in the United Kingdom and Dubai.
The Royal Blue Emblem horses succeeded in collecting financial prizes exceeding 4 million pounds sterling, in return for the victories they achieved throughout the British racing season, especially the classic ones.
For his part, Hugh Anderson, General Manager of Godolphin in the United Kingdom and Dubai, said: “Everyone at Godolphin is very proud to obtain the Owner’s Championship title for the sixteenth time.
”He continued: “This season has proven to be another exceptional season led by the champion of the English 2000 Guineas and Sussex Stakes, the horse Notable Speach.
It is also particularly exciting to see the next generation of horses emerging with Shadow of Light and (Desert Flower) have established themselves as the best two-year-old horses in the country, and with many of our top stars continuing to train, we look forward to 2025 with great anticipation.
”He concluded: “All of our trainers did a fantastic job once again, while it was very rewarding to see our local horses and stallions perform so well.

”The horse “Notable Speach” achieved a historic victory in the “English 2000 Guineas” race on the opening day of the “Guineas” Festival in Newmarket last May.
“Notable Speech” also became the first winner of the “Guineas” race since the legendary “Frankel” in 2011.
He returned and won the “Sussex Stakes” title in the same season for Category 1 horses, after another brilliant performance by “Notable Speech” in the race that took place in… “Goodwood” last July.
The very exciting young colt “Shadow of Light” scored a remarkable double at the G1 level as he followed up his victory in the “Middle Park Stakes” with a win in the “Darley Dewhurst Stakes” at the Dubai Future Champions Festival last weekend, knowing that only two colts have won both races in The last 114 years.
The undefeated filly “Desert Flower” heads into the winter with classic ambitions as well, after concluding her season with a wonderful showing in the “Phillies Mile” race for Class 1 horses.
A strong group of emerging horses also recorded victories in class races, including the colt “Ancient Truth,” winner of the “Super Latif Stakes” title for the second category horses, “Group 2,” and his fellow colt, “Amory City,” in the “Vintage Stakes” (Group 2).
Ancient Wisdom and Arabian Crown also won a Group 3 race, and the two colts are scheduled to remain with Notable Special in training at the age of four years.
