According to the official notice, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration will begin today, i.
e October 28 and will go on till November 22, 2024, 9PM.
Candidates will be able to pay their application fee till 11:50.

As per the schedule, the JEE Main 2025 exam will take place from January 22 to January 31, 2025.
Admit cards will be available three days before the start of the exam, and candidates can access them by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.
This year, the exam will be offered in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Eligibility criteriaTo be eligible for JEE Main 2025, candidates must have completed or be currently enrolled in their Class 12 examination, with required subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and one additional course such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
General category students are typically required to achieve at least 75% in their Class 12 exams, while SC/ST candidates may qualify with around 65%; however, exact requirements may vary by institution.
Candidates are permitted to attempt JEE Main over three consecutive years, with no upper age limit.
JEE Main scores will be used for admission to engineering and architecture programs at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other recognised institutions, and will also serve as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced 2025 for IIT admissions.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Detailed exam pattern announcedIn its notice, the NTA has also released the detailed exam pattern and exam timings for both shifts.
For Paper 1 and Part I of Paper 2, Section A consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), and Section B includes questions with answers to be filled in as numerical values.
Negative marking applies to incorrect answers in both Section A and Section B.
