PM Modi Celebrates Diwali With Jawans In Gujarat's Kachchh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday reached Gujarat’s Kachchh to celebrate Diwali with the armed forces, like every year.
This time, he is in the Lakki Nala area of Kachchh, which is close to the Indo-Pakistan border.
Modi celebrated the festival of lights with BSF, army, navy and air force personnel in Sir Creek.
Amid chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, he offered sweets to the soldiers deployed at the border post.

This is an inhospitable place due to the extremely hot days and cold nights.
The terrain is also quite challenging.
Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, where he earlier paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the iconic Statue of Unity on the birth anniversary of the country’s first home minister.
Since 2014, Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary has been celebrated on October 31 as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’, or National Unity Day.
