VBA president Prakash Ambedkar hospitalised in Pune
Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) President Prakash Ambedkar was admitted to a hospital in Pune on Thursday due to chest pain.
According to a post by the VBA, his condition is currently stable and he will be soon be getting an angiography.
“His present condition is stable and he will undergo angiography.
The Ambedkar family will not be taking questions at this time and requests you to respect the family’s request for privacy as they deal with these circumstances,” read a statement by the VBA on X.
Balasaheb Ambedkar was admitted to a hospital in Pune in the early hours of Thursday morning, October 31, for a chest pain.
Balasaheb Ambedkar is being treated at the ICU for a blood clot in his heart.

Ambedkar is expected to be under observation in the next 3 to 5 days.
In the interim, VBA state president Rekha Tai Thakur will be leading the party’s election campaign with the help of Election Coordination Committee, Manifesto Committee and Media and Research Department of the party.
Prakash Ambedkar, also popularly known as Balasaheb Ambedkar has been a two-time MP from Akola.
His party is contesting multiple seats in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, to take place on November 20.
