Brookfield India Real Estate Trust leases 1 million sq ft in July-September

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust has leased over 1 million sq ft driven by strong revival in demand for office spaces in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) during the quarter ended September.

The REIT has recorded new leasing of over 7 lakh sq ft with 66% of the space take-up taking place in its SEZ assets.

The committed occupancy has increased to 85%, improving by around 500 basis points over the last 12 months.

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust’s operating lease rentals grew by 55% from a year ago to Rs 425.
