Gautam Gambhir is brand ambassador for CoinDCX

In what is seen to be an interesting and controversial development, CoinDCX, the crypto exchange platform, has appointed Gautam Gambhir, the Indian men’s cricket team coach, as its new brand ambassador.

Gambhir will be the first face of the ‘Learn Karo.

’ campaign, an initiative designed to empower Indian investors with essential knowledge before venturing into crypto investments.

From 2019 to 2024, Gambhir was also a Member of Parliament affliated to the ruling BJP whose regime has been opposed to crypto currency.

He is also a recipient of the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian honour.

By being brand ambassador, Gambhir – whose presence across media is considerable thanks to his coach role – the endorsement is going to be much discussed.
