IIM Calcutta Releases CAT Mock Test Link, Access Question Paper At iimcat.ac.in

IIM Calcutta has released a mock test link for CAT 2024, allowing aspirants to prepare for the Common Admission Test (CAT).

Candidates can now access the practice test on the IIM CAT’s official website, iimcat.

This mock test contains a collection of questions from previous CAT tests, with the goal of familiarising students with various question formats, such as multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and non-MCQs, as well as the exam’s digital interface.

How to Access the CAT 2024 Mock Test? Step 1: Visit the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.

ac.

in.

Step 2: Click the mock test link on the homepage.

Step 3: A PDF with a link to the sample test will open.

Step 4: To start the sample test, click on the link in the PDF.

Step 5: After finishing the test, click the submit button.

Step 6: Save the summary page for future reference.

The CAT 2024 mock test will run 120 minutes for non-PwD candidates (40 minutes for each of the three sections).

However, candidates in the PwD (Persons with Disabilities) category are given an extra 40 minutes.

As per the official notice, “The objective of this Mock Test is not to disclose the exam pattern for CAT 2024 and the number, type, and pattern of questions, as well as sequence and timing of sections in the Mock Exam are only indicative and these are subject to variations from year to year as decided by the CAT authorities.

” The authorities have enabled the ‘Submit’ link in each section.

This allows candidates to go on to the next portion before the 40-minute time limit expires.

During the actual exam, candidates can only move to the next segment after 40 minutes.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national-level exam for admission to postgraduate and fellow/doctorate level business courses given by Indian Institutes of Management.

In addition to the IIMs, several additional institutions employ the examination in their admissions processes.

The CAT 2024 entrance exam is planned to take place on November 24 in 170 cities across the country.

This year the application window was open till September 13.

Candidates who applied for the CAT 2024 had to pay an application fee of Rs 2,500.

The application cost for SC, ST and PWD candidates was Rs 1,250.
