Indian 3: Shankar To Reshoot Scenes Adding ₹100 Crore To Budget - Will Lyca Productions Invest?

Over four years in the making, Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 released on the big screens on July 12.

The movie was released on a pan-India scale but did not do well at the box office.

Post the debacle of Indian 2, netizens are curious as what filmmaker Shankar has in store for the third part in the franchise.

Will Shankar release the third part of Indian?According to a report in M9, filmmaker Shankar has rolled back Indian 3 to its production stage again.

Chances are there might be reshooting of few scenes which reportedly will cost a whopping amount of ₹100 crore.

Reports suggest that almost 60-70% of Indian 3 has been shot and is ready.

Reportedly, makers have decided to release it directly on OTT.

Kamal Haasan, reportedly has suggested some changes in the scenes, which in case re-shoots might be there.

Rumours are rife that the unexpected costs and losses faced by Lyca Productions in recent ventures like Chandramukhi 2, Lal Salaam, and Indian 2, it looks uncertain if they’ll invest further.

Haasan features in the vigilante action drama as Veerasekaran Senapathy.

Indian 2 has music by Anirudh Ravichander and has writers Jayamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu and Lakshmi Saravanakumar on board.
