What would you do if you saw a foreigner walking around in their traditional attire on the streets of your city? You’d probably look twice, right? Well, something similar happened when an Indian woman decided to wear her traditional suit in Japan.
But guess what? The reactions she received were beyond just intriguing— they were absolutely sweet!
And now, the footage has gone viral across social media platforms.
In the short reel, the woman, dressed in a mustard salwar suit, is seen walking down a staircase.
She completed her look with silver jewellery and styled her hair neatly.
Gunjan Singh, who shared the video, revealed she did it just for fun and was not expecting such a positive and surprised response from people.
“I wore a suit in Japan and the reactions are uproarious,” she wrote.
The footage shows some people reacting in awe, while others appeared shy yet couldn’t help but smile, clearly admiring her Indian look.
Many couldn’t resist gushing over her traditional attire.
“I thought of wearing an Indian attire on the streets of Hamamatsu and Maisaka just for fun but didn’t expect people to actually liking it and get so shocked,” she added.
To add more drama to her video, she shared the clip with the Bollywood song Tumse Milke Dil Ka playing in the background.
Naturally, the video grabbed the attention of social media users, with the comment section flooding with compliments.
However, there was a section of users who felt that she should have opted for a saree instead.
