Jharkhand Elections 2024: JP Nadda Says BJP Wil Revoke Tribal Rights For Children Of Bangladeshi Infiltrators

JP Nadda, the BJP national president, has pledged to revoke tribal rights for children of Bangladeshi infiltrators if his party wins in Jharkhand.

He accused the current government, led by Hemant Soren, of harbouring these infiltrators.

Nadda assured that the BJP would protect local communities rights and prevent tribal status for children born to an infiltrator father and a local Adivasi mother.

Nadda stated at a rally in Bishrampur, Palamu district, Every Bangladeshi will be thrown out of Jharkhand and along with that the way they marry tribal sisters and want rights on their tribal land, the children born from them will not be given any tribal rights.

BJPs Stand Against InfiltratorsThe BJP leader also criticised the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government for allegedly sheltering Bangladeshi infiltrators.

He promised that such individuals would be expelled from the state after elections.

Nadda further accused the JMM-led administration of corruption and urged voters to replace it with a double-engine government for comprehensive development.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah echoed similar sentiments earlier in the day.

He criticised the Hemant Soren-led government for welcoming Bangladeshi infiltrators with open arms.

Shah asserted that these forces would be deported once the BJP assumes power in Jharkhand.

Clarification on Uniform Civil CodeShah also addressed concerns about the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), clarifying that it would not affect tribal rights.

He accused the JMM and Congress of spreading false information regarding this issue.

Shah emphasised that tribals would remain unaffected by UCC policies under BJP governance.

During an election rally in Potka, East Singhbhum, Shah remarked, The JMM-led coalition has laid out red carpet for Bangladeshi infiltrators, who settle in Jharkhand and grab tribal land, employment of youths and indulge in anti-national activities.

Upcoming ElectionsThe elections for Jharkhands 81-member Assembly are scheduled in two phases: November 13 and November 20.

The vote counting will occur on November 23.

The BJP is campaigning vigorously to regain control of the state by focusing on issues like infiltration and governance.

The partys leaders have been vocal about their plans to address infiltration concerns while ensuring development through a double-engine government model.

They aim to convince voters that their approach will lead to better governance and security in Jharkhand.
