Man Urges Indians To Boycott Goa, Calls It A 'Tourist Trap' With High Prices And Dirty Beaches

A man has started a heated discussion on social media after he called for a boycott of Goa.

Aditya Trivedi, who recently visited the coastal state, described it as a “shithole” when compared to Southeast Asian destinations.

He also slammed the Mumbai-Goa highway, calling it “pure torture”.

He went on to compare Goa unfavourably to popular tourist spots in Southeast Asia.

The state, he said, was a “literal shithole” when compared to places like Phuket, Bali, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines.

Trivedi also criticised the state’s expensive hotels and overpriced cabs.

“Hotels and cabs are just focused on looting the tourists,” he added.

Trivedi had a less-than-ideal experience at Goa’s clubs.

He pointed you that the clubs charge hefty entry fees and just play Hindi songs.

“They don’t play house, trance, techno anymore.

It’s just Bollywood.

” He said that he doesn’t understand why people still visit Goa.

According to him, the beaches were overcrowded, dirty, and filled with tourists.

I have been going to Goa for 30 years now and I have seen how and why it got messed up.
