Rahul Gandhi claims 'senior minister' forcing businesses to praise PM Modi

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday claimed that several "play-fair businesses" received a call from a "senior Minister" asking them to praise Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media following his article on how "monopolists" were controlling governing institutions.

The charge comes a day after Gandhi, in an op-ed, claimed several "play-fair" businesses were persisting in an "oppressive system".

"After my article, many play-fair businesses are telling me that a senior Minister has been calling and forcing them to say good things on social media about PM Modi and the government's programs.

Proves my point exactly!" the Raebareli MP tweeted.
