SL vs NZ: Sri Lanka’s T20I and ODI squad announced against New Zealand

Sri Lanka on Wednesday announced the teams for the two T20 and three ODI series against New Zealand at home.

Charith Asalanka was appointed captain of the Sri Lankan team for both formats.

The first match of the T20 series between the two teams will be played on 9 November and the second on 10 November in Dambulla.

The first match of the ODI series will be played in Dambul on 13 November, the second match in Pallekele on 17 November and the third match at the same venue on 19 November.

In the ICC rankings in ODIs, Sri Lanka is at sixth place, one place behind New Zealand.

At the same time, in the T-20 rankings, Sri Lanka is at 8th while New Zealand is at 5th.
