As the results of the US Presidential Election were announced, celebrations erupted in Andhra Pradesh’s village of Usha Vance, wife of Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance.

Usha Vance traces her roots to Andhra’s Vadluru village in the Godavari district where people started rejoicing and bursting crackers in bliss as the counting of votes went on in the day (Indian time), clearing the picture that Donald Trump would return as the 47th President of the United States.

Earlier in the day, people also offered special prayers for Vance’s success in the polls and said that relations between India and US will improve with Donald Trump back in the White House.

“The relations between America and India will improve if Trump becomes the President.

There is a big fight between the two (Trump and Kamala Harris).

Usha Vance’s distinguished career includes clerking for Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh before Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

She also served as the Managing Editor of the Yale Journal of Law and Technology and Executive Development Editor of The Yale Law Journal.
